Thank you for supporting Frisner!

Thank you to all the friends and neighbors who reached out or stopped by to make a contribution and send positive thoughts to Frisner Augustin on Sunday. We received word that he's passed on last night to share his music with another world. Contributions for his medical expenses are in Haiti and will be used to celebrate his talent and the many gifts he offered everyone in his life.

Special thanks to Brenda Colling for her prompt response to Lois Wilckens efforts to sustain Frisner in the hopes of transporting him back to the states for medical treatment.

Kudos to Phil Roc and the Peace Project

The Ugly One

It's no wonder, Marius von Mayenburg, is the most produced German playwright...Only the third night into previews and the cast delivered an amazingly visceral and disturbingly humorous interpretation of "The Ugly One." Major Kudos to Soho Rep, The Play Company, and John Adrian Selzer! Directed by Daniel Aukin.

Will Rawls is an extraordinary dancer with surprising range. He embraces and executes movement from the powerful subtlety of Shen Wei to the large scale be bopping in Noemie La France's "Agora" at the McCarren Pool in Williamsburg, with such grace and ease it's no wonder his projects as a choreographer and curator compels one to investigate!

So please investigate!
