The Marlene Clary Scholarship Program
Our friend and neighbor Marlene Clary passed away on December 23, 2009. Funeral services will be held on 12/28 at the Old First Reformed Church in Park Slope on 7th Ave. and Carroll St. at 4 pm.
A scholarship program named after Marlene Clary was established at the Berkeley Carroll School in Park Slope, where Marlene was a much beloved teacher for almost 35 years. If you are interested in making a donation, one can email the school administrative offices directly at: bcs@berkeleycarroll.org
The school will be honoring Marlene with a memorial in January 2010. Information will be posted on their website: http://www.berkeleycarroll.org.

Liturgy of Light
The Festal Candlelight Carol Service at the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church is truly beyond. There's something to be said for music offered by a congregation of inclusive everyday people committed to community service and international human rights intervention. Much appreciation to The Reverend David Dyson and directors of both The Lafayette Inspirational Ensemble and The Lafayette Choir, Janis Russell and J.David Williams respectively. www.lapcbrooklyn.org/
