Shostakovich For The Children Of Syria

Kinan Azmeh opens the evening with "Sabah hazeen, Kul Sabah" for solo clarinet.

It was an incredible evening at Carnegie Hall, when 125 concert masters and principal musicians from New York's premier orchestras joined George Mathew, in performing Shostakovich's Symphony No. 7, to benefit the Doctors Without Borders' humanitarian programs surrounding Syria.

It's heartwarming to witness what a community of musicians and scientists are able to accomplish when an agreement to a common goal is set.

Please listen in on the concert and make a contribution.
